Resource Exchange Grants
The EU project Aquagenome – Genomic in fish and shellfish: From research to aquaculture - funds exchange of genomic resources among European laboratories active in the field of genomics in fish and shellfish aquaculture. The grants (up to a maximum of 1000 euros) will cover costs for labour and consumables needed for handling and if appropriate shipping of genomic resources within Europe.
The research planned with the genomic resources (techniques, genomic tools or analyses) should be relevant to the theme of Aquagenome. The grants may cover the cost of generating resources such as copies of cDNA and genomic libraries, microarrays and other materials. They may also be associated with mobility grant requests to cover costs at the host laboratory.
Applications will be accepted continuously and evaluated at 6 fixed dead-lines: August 1st, November 1st, 2007 and February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st, 2008.
